I'm a Software Engineer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, focused on frontend architecture and backend systems, who genuinely loves the craft of coding, testing, shipping, and supporting software to delight clients, whether that's deep in an operating system module or polishing the last pixel of a UI component. I ship fixes, upgrades, and new features across large, multi-repo systems, combining an MS in Computer Science from Purdue, decades of deep-system experience, and modern agentic AI tooling to deliver rapid solutions without sacrificing quality. Independent consultant since 2021, partnering with select clients on frontend architecture and backend engineering, and open to the right full-time opportunity as well.

Payments & financial systems: Modernized a multi-billion-dollar bill-pay platform at Patterson Companies, shipping a responsive, locale-aware Vue.js/TypeScript/TanStack experience. Earlier, at SmugMug, migrated legacy payments code to Stripe, ensuring a locale-aware UI across 10 global currencies.
